How Artificial Intelligence is Revolutionizing the Education System

In 2016, Google’s artificially intelligent system “AlphaGo” beat the world’s top-ranked player of Go, which is an ancient Asian strategy game that is much more complex than chess. Crowdsourcing is mostly used for outsourcing workers and funding drives, but it is also being used to match the right tutor with the right student. Online service websites use artificial intelligence and machine learning to match singles together, so they naturally can be used to match tutors and tutees together. There are educational social networks that help hundreds of thousands of students collaborate and support each other across the country and globe. These networks use complex machine learning algorithms to filter spam, minimize low-quality content and help moderators provide individualized services to students. These social media platforms even make friend suggestions based on areas of interest and help needed.

Problem Identification and Solving

Many teachers and professors have hundreds of students who learn at different paces and have different progress rates, so it’s challenging to identify and deal with their specific educational needs. Artificial intelligence solutions complement in-class teaching because they do not use the traditional one-size-fits-all approach. For example, artificial intelligence algorithms can analyze data to establish patterns, provide insights and identify learning gaps. Some educational institutions and platforms use artificial intelligence solutions to analyze years of teacher interaction and student performance data to detect trends and prevent problems.
